Dental treatment for younger children - before high school
Younger children receive dental treatment free of charge through specialised Dental clinics or Dental Therapists visits at primary school. You can register your child for free dental treatment by calling 0800 TALK TEETH (0800 825 583). Their first visit will usually be between their 1st and 2nd birthday.
Your Dental Therapists may refer your child to Peak Dental for specialised treatment. We will talk you through what the problem is and make it easy to understand exactly what your treatment options are. You can trust our Dentists to provide the best dental treatment for your child’s needs.
Free dental care for high school students
The Ministry of Health gives free dental care for all high school aged children up to the age of 18. We encourage high school students to visit us annually for their check ups, free of charge.
